I’m Elaine, a forty plus…ok fifty plus single gal living in NYC. When my youngest child went off to college, I began to ponder, whats next. One thing I was sure of, I wasn’t gonna start wearing sensible shoes and limit myself to shopping only in the women’s coordinates department…that wouldn’t be fun at all.
So, I thought…hum..theres got to be countless other women out there in the world just like me. I’m obsessed with fashion and reinventing myself. Staying fit and traveling are also at the top of my list.
And, in case your wondering how the name “Squarepearls” came about, well let me share. Its what I call women of a certain age, who are classic and timeless like pearls, yet unapoligetically edgy. We are just a tad bit different from the average gal. If your one, you totally get it.
My goal with this blog is to inspire, connect with, and challenge all women to live their most authentic life. As I continue learning, growing and designing my life one day at a time, my hope is that you’ll join me on this journey.
