The Faux Leather Puffer Coat Trend

The faux leather puffer coat trend is really strong right now. It’s having an amazing run, and I’m loving every minute of it. I especially love that there’s gorgeous outerwear available at every price point. The quality is just exceptional.

My first taste of faux leather this season was when I scored that milk chocolate trench. I was so blown away by the craftsmanship, and the texture, that I immediately went on the hunt for a faux leather puffer. Todays faux leather garments are not made of the odd smelling plastic like materials of the past.

I get tons of compliments on this puffer, and my trench coat. Every time I step out in one of these pieces, they turn heads. People are totally in shock, when I share that they’re not one hundred percent authentic leather.

I couldn’t get into this post without sharing just a bit about the trench also, but let’s get into this puffer. First off, the color is dreamy. It’s the most beautiful shade of off white. I believe it’s called ecru. It’s boxy without being too overwhelming, and it’s a perfect weight, not too light and not too heavy. It’s definitely going to keep me warm during the colder months. Just like the trench, the construction and quality of the coat is top notch.

I’m sure many of you are already rocking some faux leather pieces this fall..like skirts, pants and tops. If you’ve been hesitant to go all the way in, and get that jacket or coat, do it.
