Over Sized Black Clutch,

If finding the best places to shop while visiting New York City is on your to do list, then you’ve come to the right place. NYC has all the major department stores like Saks, Bloomingdales and we even have a Nordstrom now. New York city is also saturated with smaller shops and boutiques.  Then there’s areas like Soho, 5th ave and the illustrious Madison ave. NYC is known for having some of, if not the best shopping in the world. It can be a bit overwhelming for someone that’s not familiar with shopping here.

Many people will take the opportunity to get offline while traveling, and actually spend some time in store shopping, and I’m one of those people. I love finding new and original items when traveling..especially clothing. Although I thoroughly enjoy online shopping, there’s nothing like wondering into a shop.. spotting a beautiful item, then being able to try it on and touch it. Then have the joy of taking it home with you at that very moment.

Some of the lesser known, but fabulous places to find really cool apparel, jewelry and small home goods in NYC is what I’ll be sharing. One of the things that you guys will learn in this post is that it’s okay to take a quick jolt to Brooklyn.. thats where you’ll find some the coolest stores in New York. If you want to find some really cool vintage shops, you’d probably want to check out Williamsburg Brooklyn. Those of you passionate about your jewelry..there’s something for you guys also. Here’s your go to list, along with what you can expect to find in store.
